Step two

Your first day, splash by splash

  1. 1

    Before you leave

    No snacks for 30 minutes

Don't feed your swimmer for at least 30 minutes before the lesson.

  2. 2

    When you arrive

    Bathroom first

Come with enough time for a bathroom trip. Under 3 or not potty trained? Put on both swim diapers.

  3. 3

    Before the pool

    Quick rinse

Every swimmer rinses off before (and after) their lesson.

  4. 4

    On the pool deck

    Wait together

Your swimmer waits with you on the deck until their Teacher is in the pool. No running — grown-ups help keep it safe.

  5. 5

    Lesson time

    Meet your Teacher

The Swim Teacher and Deck Specialist make sure your child is in the right Swim Level. Think it's not the right fit? Just tell the Deck Specialist.

  6. 6

    After the splash

    Rinse, dry & celebrate

Rinse off again, warm up, and cheer for your swimmer's very first lesson!

Good to know

  • Food and glass aren't allowed in the pool area (that's state law).
  • Lessons are 30 minutes, and progress is shared with families every month.
